In our spare time, we volunteer with nonprofit veteran organizations Am Vets Outdoors and The Fallen Outdoors.

Their missions are to organize outdoor adventures for veterans, past and present, from every generation and all branches of the military. Their aim is to connect soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines with like-minded individuals while teaching them a skill and passion they can continue for a lifetime.

We are proud to accompany veterans and active service men and women in various outdoor pursuits. One day, we may take a few vets to catch some crappie, the next day may involve upland bird hunting, and the day after that, we could take a hike through the Shawnee National Forest.

Regardless of the activity, our goal is to get our members outdoors, having fun, and perhaps putting some meat in the freezer.

As veterans ourselves, we understand how challenging it can be to readjust to civilian life after the military. Gathering with our fellow service members from time to time reminds us of how great this country can be.
